My goal for the month of January was to introduce my students to some of the Asian cultural and arts. While researching I came across an artist by the name of
Takashi Murakami. who is an internationally prolific contemporary Japanese artist. He works in fine arts media—such as painting and sculpture as well as commercial media fashion and animation.He also did the album cover for Kanye West”all graduation’ and the animation for kanye west music video “goodmorning”
So heres are some of the finish painting which were inspired by Takashi Murakami.
By the way just down the hall from the art room ,Ms.Mercedes and her group decorated their room with Japenese lantern and ballerina snowflakes.Great job guys! 😉
