Happy New Year ! In honor of Chinese New Year ,We explored some of thier tradition.One very popular is Maneki-Neko (fortune cat) which is a lucky charm. Thus, it’s very common to find one on display in stores, restaurants and other businesses. On my recent trip to china town in New York I brought a couple of them so i could share with my students. This Fortune Cat is a lucky charm that’s very popular in Japanese and Chinese cultures.
