I love Op-At (optical Art) which artists create an impression of movement on the picture surface by means of optical illusion . Joseph Albers was one op artist that we studied some of his works.
Students used a ruler to divide their paper into four equal section, added wiggly lines between each parts ,making their wiggles smaller as the move to the center of their paper.
Working with only two colors they colored each section.When this pattern is complete you will have an optical illusion.
