Today was my first day back from being hit by hurricane Sandy.Most of my students were left with out power any where to a couple of hours to a couple of days.So after listening to all of their stories I asked them a much fitting question,
“What are you thankful for and why?”
I handed out some paper so they could write down their response,then I gave them a turkey silhouette so they could embellish them with crayons paint and feathers.
They did a great job!
