As I was teaching my self portrait lesson to my 1st and 2nd graders , I didn’t realize at the time that I had a kindergartner in my class. So as the kids were drawing one of them notice that the kindergartner picture looked like this…
So what was I to say?=? “well if he likes it and is proud of it so am I’
Then my kindergartner asked for another piece of paper & then proceeded to draw
this
“The first drawing was my sloppy copy ” he said.
lol
I guess he just needed to do a sketch of his work before he would make his master piece
